According to the band, dEFDUMp is about the lives we are living. It's all about respecting life in all its forms, and about trying to find a way to one's real self. It's about how we feel when we come home and the day is closing down on our lives.

After a successfull four days tour through France with SOULFLY, Dirk the longtime drummer left the band due to personal reasons (he is still a good and close friend) and Vincent joined Usel, Félix and Marc, to continue the adventure ...and work on their new concept "MAKESHIFT POLARIS" ...
